Welcome to The School of Graduate Studies at Lincoln University of Missouri -- your first point of contact if you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree. This office is your proverbial "one-stop-shop" for all things related to graduate admission. We are responsible for collecting and processing all of your application materials for each of the departments offering graduate degrees. We will provide you with general program information and help you arrange meetings with specific graduate advisors in your interest area. We are also responsible for arranging campus tours.
Currently, Lincoln University offers four different Master's degrees with a total of 10 different majors. Within major areas, graduate students can also choose different areas of interest. We also offer two graduate certifications in College Student Mental Health and Instructional Technology, respectively.
Whether you are interested in business, science, education or the social sciences, we have quality Master's degree programs to offer that will help you reach your long-term professional and academic goals. Programs with national accrediting agencies, such as business and education, have produced thousands of graduates who are now gainfully employed or pursuing terminal degrees at Research 1 Universities.
Quality, flexibility and affordability all make Lincoln University a great place to pursue a graduate degree as evidenced by our desire to cater to and cultivate who the researchers refer to as the "Twenty-First Century Student." We have some degrees that are available online while others are offered in the evenings in convenient 8-week formats that are designed to allow you to continue working while pursuing a degree that will equip you with the necessary skillset to compete in a knowledge-based global economy.
I am proud to announce that we have just graduated the inaugural cohort of from Master of Arts degree program in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) – one of less than five programs with this emphasis in the country. This degree program provides graduate assistantship opportunities in a loop training course format that enables students to work in the bowels of the institution, allowing students to gain meaningful and practical training in administering various units throughout the University – invaluable experience that can sometimes exceed the scope of what can be covered in an eight-week-class.
Whether you are a current student, alumnus/alumna, or prospective student, we invite you to spend some time with us in person at any number of events and programs throughout the year.
Onward and Upward,
Clarissa Myrick-Harris, Ph.D
