Primary Care
All students, regardless of insurance, can access care from a Lincoln University Student Health primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP will manage your health needs and concerns throughout your time at Lincoln University.
Primary Care Provided
General office visits are appropriate for most conditions. Routine annual gynecological exams, physicals, and complex medical concerns may require a longer appointment.
Same-day appointments are available for more urgent problems.
Urgent Care services are available on a walk-in basis but should be reserved for very urgent conditions. Patients will be seen in the order of the severity of their illness and wait times may vary.
Administrative physical exams for employment, DMV, diving, or school applications should be scheduled with your Primary Care Provider.
Laboratory Testing
The following laboratory testing is available, on-site at the SHC:
- Pregnancy
- Urine Analysis
- Blood Glucose
- Strep Throat
- Mononucleosis
- And More!!
Other testing can be provided and sent to an outside laboratory for results. Lab processing fees may apply.
STD Testing/Treatment
Student Health Services provides HIV and Syphilis testing free of charge during clinic hours. All other STD testing is performed during the PCP appointment with a lab processing fee attached. STD testing performed by the PCP is by appointment only. Please contact Student Health Services to schedule. STD treatment is also provided during clinic hours.
*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please cancel or give at least a 4-hour notice.
