New Student Information
Incoming Blue Tigers, take the steps to secure your home away from home!
- Submit a one-time, non-refundable $150 intent to enroll fee to the Office of Admissions.
- Apply For Financial Aid: Fill out the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to add Lincoln University FAFSA code 002479.
- Submit any required health records to Thompkins Health Center.
- Submit your Housing Application.
- Sign in to your LU portal account.
- Under student links, click on the housing icon.
- Select the new student application under the menu icon.
- Purchase renters’ insurance (optional).
- Pay your one-time, non-refundable $150 fee online (part of the housing application process)
Only students who have completed ALL steps will receive a housing assignment.

Renters Insurance is an optional but highly encouraged part of our housing application. You can always decline this option, or complete the application and purchase renters insurance later.
