Welcome to a New Era of Textbook Convenience

At Lincoln University, we understand that preparing for a new semester can be stressful. That's why we've partnered with Follett to launch the Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program, ensuring every student has all course materials they need by the first day of classes. Our faculty will work directly with Follett to provide all necessary course materials, which will be ready and accessible in your Canvas account from day one—allowing you to focus on your studies without the hassle of securing your materials.

Who is participating?

All LU students are automatically enrolled in this program at the point of course registration. Students not interested in having their required materials provided to them at a low cost can choose to opt out of the program each semester. Students who choose to opt out are responsible for finding and purchasing their own materials.

If you do not wish to participate in this program, enrolled students will receive an email from noreply@follett.com with a link and opt-out directions.

How much is the program fee?

Students with 12+ credit hours will be charged $340 per semester.

Students with 1-11 credit hours will be charged $30 per credit hour per semester.

This fee allows students to have all their required course materials provided through this program.

How to Opt-Out

Instructions on exiting the program through the opt-out portal will be sent to your student email at the beginning of each semester. Program FAQs

The Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program provides Lincoln University students with easy access to required course materials at a reduced cost. In partnership with Follett, this program allows automatic delivery of materials either digitally in your Canvas LMS or physically for pickup at the bookstore. The program operates on an opt-out model where all students are automatically enrolled each semester unless they choose to opt-out.
Yes, students can save up to 60% on textbooks compared to standard prices. This savings is achieved through Follett’s negotiations with publishers and bulk purchasing, ensuring you pay the lowest possible price for course materials.
You will be notified via email about your enrollment in the program upon course registration. Emails with subjects like "Welcome to the Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program" and "Your Order is Ready for Pick-Up" will provide all necessary information about accessing your course materials.
Once you register for classes, you are automatically enrolled in the program, and your course materials are prepared by the campus store. Digital materials will be accessible in your Canvas account, and physical materials can be picked up at the campus bookstore. Details will be communicated to you through email.
Students will receive a mix of digital and physical course materials based on the requirements of their registered courses. This includes textbooks, lab manuals, and digital access codes as necessary.
For any materials not included in the Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program, such as recommended readings or supplies, you can purchase these at the campus bookstore or order them online.
The program includes only "Required" materials as specified by the course faculty. "Recommended" materials are not included but may be purchased separately.
If you add a course, the required materials will be provided within 24 hours. If you drop a course, access to digital materials will be disabled, and physical materials must be returned to the bookstore.
The program is opt-out, meaning all students are automatically enrolled upon registering for courses. You can opt out before the deadline each semester with no penalty.

All students who opt out by the deadline will have their refunds processed starting January 18th.

If the opt-out period has not ended, you can opt back in by visiting the opt-out portal accessible through the link provided by the University.

Please contact Student Financial Services if you have questions about your program refund. You can email them at sfs@lincolnu.edu.

The book voucher program at Lincoln University concluded after the Fall 2024 semester. Please note the transition to the Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program for those previously relying on book vouchers. This new initiative ensures seamless access to required textbooks. If you have any questions, please email the Student Financial Services team at sfs@lincolnu.edu.

Students who opt out of the program are responsible for finding and purchasing their own required materials. Students who wish to shop outside the Blue Tiger Textbook Access Program can use the search bar at the top of the University Shop website instead of searching by course or ID number. Searching by course or ID number will only display Textbook Access Program details, not individual book pricing.
