Lincoln University of Missouri student Nia Walker has been named to the 2025 ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge Student Voting Honor Roll. She is one of just 232 college students nationwide recognized for their outstanding nonpartisan efforts to promote voter registration, education and turnout during the 2024 election cycle.
A senior political science major, Walker was selected as part of the fourth annual honor roll, which celebrates students who have gone above and beyond to advance civic engagement in their communities. Through her leadership, Walker helped mobilize her peers at Lincoln University to participate in the democratic process during a historic election year.
"I am very thankful to have encouraged others to be engaged with our politics and inspire others to exercise their voting power," Walker said.
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge empowers colleges and universities to promote civic learning and increase nonpartisan student voter participation. Participating institutions work through a series of action steps to institutionalize civic engagement on their campuses. Today, the initiative includes more than 1,000 campuses nationwide, collectively enrolling over 10 million students across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
