Lincoln Welcomes New Additions to Office of Academic Innovation, Outreach and Research

Lincoln University is proud to announce the addition of three new team members to the Office of Academic Innovation, Outreach and Research. These new hires, effective Monday, April 7, reflect Lincoln’s commitment to expanding access, innovation and excellence in education.

Each brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion to their respective roles. Joining the team are:

Nathanael Arbuckle
LUOnline Content Developer

As LUOnline Content Developer, Mr. Arbuckle will oversee the technical development and delivery of online courses. He brings nearly a decade of experience in instructional design, online learning platforms and curriculum collaboration. His role includes ensuring adherence to Quality Matters standards and providing support to faculty and departments in delivering engaging, high-quality virtual instruction.

LU Employment Academy Director

Ms. Hines, newly appointed Director of the LU Employment Academy, will manage all academic and administrative aspects of the program. With an extensive background in workforce development and continuing education, she will lead efforts to coordinate stakeholders, recruit faculty and streamline the student experience from onboarding through program completion.

 

Dr. Adrian S. Petrescu

Dr. Petrescu steps into the role of director of the LU Security Sciences Institute. A distinguished academic and administrator, Dr. Petrescu will oversee current certificate offerings while spearheading the development of a new undergraduate program in emergency management. He will also guide the institute’s growth in connection with the construction of Lincoln’s upcoming Health and Security Sciences building.


“These individuals represent the bold, forward-thinking vision that defines our office,” said Dr. Darius E. Watson, assistant provost for Academic Innovation, Outreach and Research. “Mr. Arbuckle’s technical expertise, Ms. Hines’ deep understanding of workforce readiness and Dr. Petrescu’s global experience and strategic insight will each play a vital role in advancing Lincoln’s mission of academic innovation and inclusive opportunity.”
