Lincoln University Welcomes Dr. Tim Roling as Access and Abilities Coordinator

Lincoln University’s Division of Student Health and Well-Being has announced the appointment of Dr. Tim Roling as the Access and Abilities Coordinator, effective Monday, March 3. In this role, Dr. Roling will oversee Access and Ability Services, ensuring students receive the accommodations and resources necessary for academic success.
Dr. Roling will lead efforts to support students requiring accommodations, including those with disabilities, emotional support animals (ESAs), and individuals who are blind or visually impaired, deaf, or hard of hearing. He will also oversee interpreting services and the Access and Ability Services Testing Center, acting as a key resource to promote accessibility and inclusion across campus.
Access and Ability Services provides a range of support, including:
- Academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities
- Coordination of sign language interpreters and CART services
- Testing accommodations, including a dedicated testing center
- Help with emotional support animal (ESA) accommodations
- Support for students who are blind or visually impaired
- Accessible classroom and housing accommodations
- Advocacy and resources to ensure an inclusive campus experience
Dr. Roling brings extensive experience in education, special education, and student services. He has served in leadership roles, including middle school administrator, Director of Special Education, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Student Services, and Superintendent in Cole Camp and Moberly. He worked as the State Coordinator of Special Education for Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and as the Education Director for the Division of Youth Services.
Dr. Roling earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. He also holds a Master of Arts from William Woods University, a Specialist degree in Educational Administration from the University of Central Missouri, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Missouri.
