Lincoln University of Missouri’s 2025 Safety and Security Career Expo Set for March 5

The Lincoln University of Missouri's 2025 Safety and Security Career Expo, hosted by the Lincoln University of Missouri Security Sciences Institute, will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at The LINC (1299 Lafayette St., Jefferson City, MO 65101). This fourth annual event offers attendees an opportunity to explore careers in safety and security, engage with over 50 law enforcement and security agencies spanning local, state and federal levels. Participating agencies may also take part in a professional panel discussion and join a Q&A session.
Prior to the career expo, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., a panel discussion on "Strategies for Integrating Public, Private, and Higher Education Resources in Emergency Management" will take place in the President's Suite at The LINC for law enforcement and security agency guests. Attendees will benefit from insights and strategies shared by leading security officials in Missouri.

Agencies interested in participating can register online. Participating agencies will enjoy a complimentary catered lunch from LU. The expo’s $50 registration fee will be waived for military and first responders.
The career expo is scheduled from 12:30-3 p.m., and over 200 high school and college-age students are expected to attend. In addition to networking with professionals, students will also have the opportunity to engage in a variety of other activities showcasing the opportunities and day-to-day requirements of security and emergency response careers. High schools, community colleges and other higher education institutions may register to attend here.
