Lincoln University of Missouri and Morris Brown College Forge Partnership to Boost Student Success

Morris Brown College (MBC) President Dr. Kevin James and Lincoln University of Missouri (LU) Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Stevie L. Lawrence II sign a memorandum of understanding that will provide MBC students with the opportunity to pursue graduate degrees through LU Online.

Lincoln University of Missouri (LU) and Morris Brown College (MBC) have formalized a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at enriching educational opportunities and amplifying career pathways for students. This collaboration will provide opportunities for MBC students to pursue graduate degrees through LU Online. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in the efforts of both institutions to empower students and champion academic excellence.

Lincoln University has embarked on a nationwide initiative to expand their support of students seeking graduate degrees through its online graduate degree programs offered under LU Online. These programs, including the Master of Arts in Higher Education (HBCU concentration), Master of Education in K-12 Administration and Supervision and the Master of Business Administration, are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for career advancement.

Recognizing the shared goals and complementary strengths of both Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the MOU formalizes the partnership between MBC and LU. Through this agreement, Morris Brown College students can pursue graduate studies at Lincoln University through LU Online, beginning this fall.
