Lincoln University of Missouri will celebrate Homecoming October 1-7, an LU tradition since 1925. Each fall, our students and alumni take time to return to “the Hill” to honor the school that guided them to who they are today. LU invites all students, alumni, faculty, friends and family to attend Homecoming 2023 to celebrate Blue Tiger pride.
Homecoming will kick off Sunday, October 1 at 6 p.m. with Gospel Explosion, featuring artist Canton Jones, in Mitchell Auditorium. The event is free, and doors will open at 5 p.m. The Mister and Miss Lincoln University Coronation will take place on Thursday, October 5 at 7 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium. Admission is free.
Enjoy the National Pan Hellenic Council Step Show Friday, October 6 from 8-10 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $25. Purchase step show tickets here.
This year’s Homecoming celebrations will honor the 50th class reunion with a Golden Class Reunion Luncheon on Friday, October 6. The 50th class reunion members will also serve as the Homecoming parade grand marshals.
Saturday, October 7 is jam-packed with Homecoming festivities for all ages. The Homecoming Parade starts at 9 a.m. in Downtown Jefferson City, and the Blue Tiger Tailgate party begins at 11 a.m. in The LINC parking lot. Admission to the tailgate is included with a football game ticket. Purchase football game tickets here. For the Homecoming game, Blue Tiger football will host Northeastern State in the Dwight T. Reed Stadium. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
After cheering on the Blue Tigers as they play Northeastern State, enjoy a Homecoming Concert Party featuring artists Nardo Wick and Kash Doll. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased here.
