Sheep Shearing School

Day 1 of 2. LU Cooperative Extension hosts this annual hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to care for sheep, proper equipment set-up and maintenance, and how to separate fleece for bagging.

Welcome
Care of Equipment
Proper set-up

  
Thursday, March 6
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Review and shear sheep
Working lunch provided
Controlling parasites
Continue shearing sheep
Clean up and adjourn

     

Please bring your own equipment if you have it. Some will be available to borrow. Wear comfortable clothes and proper shoes.

Registration is limited to 20 participants. $125 per person due with registration. Click here to register now!
