Meet Lincoln University Interim Provost Piyusha Singh, Ph.D.

Lincoln University of Missouri proudly welcomes Dr. Piyusha Singh as interim provost, effective July 21, 2025. A respected leader in higher education, Dr. Singh brings a strong record of academic innovation, strategic planning and student-focused leadership to the University.

With a doctorate in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Singh’s career reflects a commitment to excellence across both academic and administrative domains. She began her executive leadership journey at Columbia College of Missouri in 2015, quickly rising through key leadership roles — from vice president for online education to chief of staff, and ultimately, provost and senior vice president. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of academic operations across in-person, online and nationwide learning platforms.

During her time at Columbia College, Dr. Singh led transformative initiatives focused on academic quality, workforce alignment and student success. Her efforts contributed to significant institutional growth and innovation in how education is delivered and experienced.

In 2022, Dr. Singh transitioned to Big Tree Medical Corporation, where she applied her leadership expertise in a new context — advancing healthcare solutions through strategic organizational development.

Now serving as interim provost at Lincoln University, Dr. Singh provides continuity, vision and a steady hand during a critical period of transition. She is deeply committed to fostering a strong academic culture, supporting faculty and staff and ensuring that students have the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

Dr. Singh’s leadership is guided by a passion for access, innovation and impact—making her a valuable addition to the Lincoln University community.
