Faculty Recognition
Each year, Lincoln University honors outstanding faculty through the Faculty Recognition Awards, celebrating excellence in teaching and community engagement. These awards recognize faculty members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and impact, significantly contributing to the University’s academic mission and community. Honorees are acknowledged for their commitment to student success, scholarly achievements, and their role in advancing Lincoln University’s core values.
Excellence in Teaching Award
Every year, each college on the Lincoln University campus nominates one faculty member from their unit to be recognized for their excellence in teaching. Faculty receiving this award will be recognized as a part of Lincoln University’s annual faculty recognition activities.

The Junior Faculty Teaching Excellence Award
This award recognizes teaching excellence and is presented annually to two Lincoln University tenure-track, untenured (junior) faculty members. One faculty member per college is selected as a nominee, and college selection committees determine the nominees.
