Students within Lincoln University of Missouri’s (LU) College of Agriculture, Environmental and Human Sciences (CAEHS) recently connected directly with leading employers in their fields at LU’s October 17 career fair. The event served as a bridge between students’ academic pursuits and professional opportunities, enabling them to explore internships, job prospects and career guidance conveniently located on campus.
“Our goal is to help students establish early connections with employers, laying a strong foundation for internships and career opportunities,” says Paula Clay, director of Lincoln University’s Career Services, which coordinated the event. “This is the groundwork — building those initial relationships that lead to long-term success.”
Students engaged with representatives from prominent organizations, including:
- Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM)
- Cargill, Incorporated (Cargill)
- Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC)
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Farm Credit Services (FCS)
- Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA)

- Missouri Farmers Association (MFA)
- United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
- United States Forest Service (USFS)
