Message from the President: Alumni Updates
Office of Communications and Marketing
Young Hall

Jefferson City, MO 65101
Dear Blue Tiger Family,
I wanted to share with you an update regarding our efforts to enhance alumni engagement. Since the beginning of my time in this office, the University has worked to reach an agreement with the Lincoln University of Missouri Alumni Association. Our attempts at finding a common ground in protecting the legacy of Lincoln University have proven unsuccessful, and so we have taken the unfortunate action of terminating our relationship with the association.
While regrettable, this move does not diminish our intent to involve more alumni with their beloved alma mater. We encourage existing alumni chapters to connect with the University. We also hope new regional and affinity groups will form as we increase engagement from around the country.
In addition, the University is moving forward with establishing an Alumni Council, which will be a group of alumni from various class years, regions, career and life experiences. The members of the council will be announced soon. This group will not replace the association. This advisory body is meant to assist us with ensuring we are connecting with those individuals and groups with a shared understanding of how collaboration is key to the successful future of our University.
A link to the full announcement regarding the association is included below. Should you have specific questions about this matter, you are welcome to email them to Alumni@LincolnU.edu.
We are looking forward to moving Lincoln University into the future together with our faculty, staff, students and alumni.
With Blue Tiger Pride,
John B. Moseley, Ed.D.
President
